Becket and its partners envision a future where waste is a primary resource. Becket bag production reduces waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse, while supporting the plant-based movement. Our manufacturer also facilitates upcycling and take-back programs to reduce waste.
Sustainable Materials
At Becket we prioritise sustainability, which is why we exclusively utilise non-leather alternatives for our bags. By sourcing next-gen materials and chemical-free dyes, our manufacturer helps replicate the look, feel, and performance of leather without the environmentally harmful practices and animal cruelty.

Comprehensive impact reports are shared annually as well as a BSCI audit demonstrating the factories commitment to its workers, the environment and contributing to a more sustainable future for the fashion industry.
Ethical and Social Responsibility
The main asset of our manufacturer is its employees. The factory currently employ 42 people. The workforce is composed of 50% female, and 30% are migrant workers, and they have a recruitment procedure designed to eliminate discrimination. Gender equality is applied in each aspect of the company, including salary distribution, and guarantee that migrant workers have actively decided to live locally to work. Through the BSCI audit, it has been calculated that factory employees receive salaries that are 10% higher than the industry standard and 40% higher than local law minimum wage requirements. The goal is to ensure that employees are able to live a fulfilling life with the means provided, and have enough time to spend with their families.
